Beyoncé is the latest musician to join the billionaires club. On Monday, Forbes reported that the singer’s net worth had crossed over into the three-comma range thanks in part to her Cowboy Carter Tour, which was the world’s highest-grossing tour of 2025.
According to Forbes, the tour grossed more than $400 million just in ticket sales and added another $50 million from merchandise sales. Since Parkwood, Beyoncé’s production company, ran the whole show, she was reportedly able to secure a much higher profit margin than your average world-famous pop star. In addition to her cut from the tour, Forbes reported that Beyoncé was paid around $50 million for her halftime show during Netflix’s Christmas Day NFL game last year and another $10 million for her Levi’s campaign. The magazine estimated that she made $148 million in 2025, which was enough to get her to billionaire status.

Beyoncé is now part of a very small crew of musician billionaires. There are only five of them in total, and one of them is her husband, Jay-Z. He along with Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Bruce Springsteen are the only other artists who have crossed the threshold, and I imagine they are all racing to see who can send her the biggest, most ornate flower arrangement first. My money’s on Swift, despite Jay-Z living in the same house.
Now, perhaps you thought Beyoncé was already a billionaire. As she once said, there was “a billion dollars on the elevator,” but that was more of a combined-net-worth situation. She and Jay-Z have been worth a billion dollars combined for quite some time. Individually, he has been a billionaire since 2019. Now, they are a pair of married billionaires, which is a concept that is sure to inspire some of the cringiest LinkedIn posts ever created.
