Paws up, little monsters. After eight long years, Lady Gaga returned to the Coachella stage as headliner for both weekend one and weekend two of the music festival — meaning that we got double doses of the pop star’s set. Her 110-minute performance was packed to the brim with fashion, dancing, intricate details, and, of course, her greatest hits.
“I think people always want to hear your hits. That has to be a part of it,” she told Uproxx before weekend one. “But also, you know, I’ve actually never been someone that will shy away from my artistry given the venue. I think Coachella is an opportunity to do something unique and special. So yes to the hits, but also yes to high artistry.”
From playing in the sandbox with skeletons to her show-stopping custom looks, here are the standout moments from Gaga’s set.
She had a gaggle of outfit changes
The best dressed performer at Coachella was by far Gaga. For her five-act show, she gave us countless looks that were equivalent to high art. She wore an enormous red sculptural gown to open the show, a white corseted gown during her sandbox performance, silver metallic armor pieces, a blue feathered coat, and more. She powered through a mic malfunction
During weekend two of the festival, Gaga experienced technical difficulties during the beginning of her set while performing “Abracadabra.” She addressed the incident later on, telling the crowd, “I’m sorry my mic was broken for a second. At least you know I sing live. I guess all we can do is our best, and I’m certainly giving you my best tonight.” That she did.

Gaga gave us sandbox realness during act two of her set. Honestly, a performance hack — she looked and sounded great, all while getting to rest her legs a bit. A win is a win.

A Star Is Born made it to Coachella Valley, sans Bradley Cooper. Gaga belted out “Shallow” during her time at the piano, bringing the crowd back in time to the incredible press tour that will outlast us all. There could be 100 people in a room…
