After receiving “good amount of flack” online for attending Stella McCartney’s Paris Fashion Week show wearing a sheer black long-sleeve dress from the brand’s Spring 2025 collection, Paris Jackson took to Instagram stories to suggest the haters focus on something else beside her nipples.
“We’re all animals, we’ve all got bodies,” Jackson said, per E! News. “It’s not that big of a deal and we’ve got bigger fish to fry, alright? Let’s do something for the environment, man. Let’s do something for the planet, man. Stop freaking out about nipples, man!”
“It’s just a body, on a human, which is an animal. We look at other naked animals all the time,” the daughter of the late Michael Jackson continued. “Don’t get uncomfortable with our bodies. It’s your body, you’ve got one, I’ve got one… There’s nothing wrong with it.”

Jackson wore other see-through looks during Paris Fashion Week, including an Iris van Herpen gown covered in tiny cutouts for the Louvre’s Grand Fashion Dinner. The backlash is interesting given that we’re living in a time where butt-cleavage is back in style and sheer dresses are worn everywhere from the Vanity Fair Oscars Party red carpet to Trader Joe’s, but I digress. Let’s listen to Jackson and turn our attention towards the climate crisis instead of her choice of clothing, okay?
