Vanderpump Rules’s Scheana Shay has revealed that her husband cheated on her while she was pregnant with their first child in 2021. In an excerpt of her upcoming memoir, My Good Side, published in Glamour Thursday, the reality-television star recounted the moment she found out about Brock Davies’s alleged infidelity in 2023. In the aftermath of Scandoval — the now-infamous affair between Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval — Shay’s relationship wound up as collateral damage, as rumors that Leviss had also slept with Davies in 2023 made the rounds. “I had spent so much time fighting off my anxiety and convincing myself that just because Tom cheated on Ariana [Madix] didn’t mean Brock would ever cheat on me,” Shay wrote in her book. “Now I was finding out just how wrong I was.”
According to Shay, she and Davies sat down to watch an episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and her husband admitted he had something to tell her. He confessed that he’d had an affair in 2021 while the couple was living in San Diego during COVID. Shay had been pregnant with their now-4-year-old daughter Summer Moon at the time. Davies explained that he met the woman before he met Shay, and that he happened to run into her outside of the F45 gym he worked at. After that meeting, they had a “brief affair.” He was able to keep it a secret because he only contacted her on his work phone, which Shay did not have access to.

“As I sat there, feeling completely sick to my stomach, he admitted that — at the time — he was scared about being a father again, specifically about whether he even deserved to be, and he chose to deal with it by sleeping with someone else,” she wrote. “If I screamed, I could wake up my daughter. Our daughter. His baby, whom I’d been carrying while he was in bed with another woman.”
Later that evening, Davies apparently gave Shay a letter that he wrote after the affair ended, detailing all the times they’d slept together, where the encounters had taken place, and a promise that they’d always used protection. Shay noted that throughout her pregnancy, Davies said he was “afraid” to have sex with her. After his admission, she said she realized he’d just been busy having sex with someone else. “Once I’d read it, that was more than enough,” Shay wrote. “I told him to immediately toss it into the fire. I never wanted to set eyes on those words again.”
Shay and Davies, who wed in 2022, are seemingly still together: On Wednesday night, she posted multiple Instagram Stories of the duo line-dancing in Los Angeles. I’m sure we’ll hear more about it on Scheananigans soon.
