After three years of marriage, Quinta Brunson has filed for divorce from her husband, Kevin Anik. Brunson filed the papers, which were obtained by People, on Wednesday, though their date of separation is not listed.
The couple met at a mutual friend’s birthday party, were engaged in July 2020, and got married in October 2021. Their relationship was extremely low-key — in fact, Brunson first confirmed their relationship at the 2022 Emmys, where she thanked him for being “the most supportive man I’ve ever known” in her acceptance speech. She also mentioned him at the 2023 Golden Globes and again at the 2024 Emmys, saying, “I didn’t prepare anything because I just didn’t think … Oh God. I love my mom, my dad, my sisters, my brothers, my entire family so much. I love my husband. I’m so happy. I love my cast. Oh, I love Abbott Elementary. Thank you so much.”
