Timothée Chalamet has taken his scarf obsession to new heights: his head. What began as an homage to Bob Dylan’s scarf-forward stylings during the press tour for A Complete Unknown seems to have become a full-fledged habit. Even if it was initially a gimmick, Chalamet is now like a committed scarf guy, and an eclectic one at that — months after his Bob Dylan cosplay came to an end, the scarves persist.
Over the weekend, the actor was photographed taking a romantic stroll through Saint-Tropez’s Shellona Beach with Kylie Jenner. He appeared to be wearing a vintage ’90s Nigerian soccer jersey with a matching green bandanna tied over a baseball cap and knotted under his chin. He was also spotted driving Jenner around in the same accessory pairing, though it’s unclear if the pictures were taken later in the day or if he was so excited about his new styling hack that he had to do it twice.

I wonder what Jenner thinks of her boyfriend’s high-concept scarf play. I bet it photographs well on film.
