If you’re one of the many people with a vested interest in what Gwyneth Paltrow is putting into her body, have I got news for you: The Goop queen has given her much-coveted endorsement to Glen Powell’s new ketchup line.
Earlier this month, fresh off his not-a-date with Sydney Sweeney, the Twisters star launched a new organic condiment brand called Smash Kitchen, which is now being sold at Walmart. The line includes all the quintessential hot-dog standbys, plus a few spins on the classics: ketchup, hot honey ketchup, yellow mustard, Dijon, mayo, spicy mayo, barbecue sauce, and hot honey barbecue sauce. Finally, a condiment line whose target audience is Top Gun: Maverick fans.
In an Instagram Reel posted Wednesday, Paltrow filmed herself unboxing a package of the sauces, which she called “beautiful.” The box proudly describes Powell’s collection as “all organic, no chemical stabilizers, no hidden ingredients, made in the USA, no high fructose corn syrup, no food coloring or dyes.” Sounds like a goop for the Goop set. Paltrow congratulated Powell on the launch in her post and said she “cannot wait to get stuck in” Smash Kitchen. Sure!
To spread the word about his new sauces, Powell has been doing plenty of interviews, including one where he spoke of his storied youth as a sauce visionary. “My sister reminded me that I made my own hot honey ketchup at 7 years old,” he told The Hollywood Reporter, adding that he hopes to “change every kitchen staple” with his new release. Can Brooklyn Beckham’s hot sauce do that?
