After what feels like endless double dates, Jennifer Aniston and her man seem to be taking an important next step in their relationship: attending each other’s work events. On Wednesday, the actress hosted a brand event in Los Angeles for her hair-care line, LolaVie. Besides what I presume to be a large collection of local beauty influencers, Aniston’s new boyfriend, hypnotist Jim Curtis, also snagged a spot on the guest list.

Remember: Curtis is a hypnotist in the spiritual way, not in the party-magician way, so he, unfortunately, was not booked as talent for the event. In a video shared by Entertainment Tonight, Curtis can be seen perched off to the side on a boyfriend couch, watching his girlfriend work the room from afar. A source told ET that the self-described “wellness pioneer” was “low-key, engaged, laughing,” and “seemed very happy to be there to support Jen.” I hope she at least sent him home with a goody bag.

This is yet another outing for the new couple. On Monday, Aniston and her man went on a double date with Courteney Cox and her boyfriend, Johnny McDaid, and earlier this month, they enjoyed a three-hour dinner with Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka. Meeting the friends and attending professional obligations as a plus-one? They sound pretty serious to me.
