It’s been over a month since Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus debuted their relationship by smooching on Instagram. Since then, we’ve gotten more proof of their budding romance on social media with snaps of them intertwined and riding on an ATV, presumably at Cyrus’ home in Tennessee. Now, the couple has reached another milestone: On May 24, the new couple became red-carpet official, posing in front of a step-and-repeat at a dinner celebrating the opening of the Orizzonti/Rosso exhibition at Palazzo Barberini in Rome, Italy.
We don’t know exactly how long they’ve been together, but we do know that they’ve been friendly since at least 2022, when they starred in a holiday movie together called Christmas in Paradise. Apparently, Hurley texted Cyrus amidst his divorce from Australian singer Firerose, saying, “you’ve got a friend in your corner,” per People, and the two reconnected.

While their partnership has caused some head scratching and confusion, to Hurley, they’re a perfect match. “It’s not surprising to me because we’re actually quite similar and get on extremely well,” she told “Page Six.” “We both like to laugh a lot, and we both love the country,” she said. “And we both love country music, both love movies. We’ve got a lot in common — and cowboy boots, definitely.” Hurley must’ve been happy that he brought his boots all the way to Rome for their red carpet debut, then.
