Congratulations are in order for Amber Heard, who announced on Mother’s Day that she’s welcomed twins to her family. The actress is now a mom of three. “This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years,” she wrote in an Instagram post. The two new additions to “the Heard gang” are her daughter, Agnes, and her son, Ocean.

“Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life,” she wrote. “I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully. To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you.”

Heard welcomed her first daughter, Oonagh Paige, via surrogate back in 2021. “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she wrote in her announcement, adding that Oonagh’s birth was “the beginning of the rest of my life.”
The new family of four currently lives in Madrid, Spain, where Heard moved to escape the “chaos” of the U.S. after her highly scrutinized defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp.
