Surprise! Justin Bieber’s Next Album Is Here.

When the ominous vision of a black-and-white billboard with the lettering “SWAG” faintly across the left and the body of Justin Bieber on the right appeared across my feed, I didn’t blink twice. I mistook this for another day of the singer being cryptic in public — but it was actually the announcement of his seventh studio album, a long-awaited return since his 2021 album. It’s titled Swag. 

Say what you will, but nothing has ever been more fitting for Bieber. The album will be released at midnight on Thursday, and the track list includes the titles “Dadz Love,” “Therapy Sessions,” “Go Baby,” and “Glory Voice Memo.” Features on the album have been confirmed to include Gunna, Sexxy Red, and Cash Cobain.

The past few months, fans have speculated about Bieber’s well-being, as well as about a divorce between him and Hailey (though the breakup rumors between the two never die down). If anything, these photos are just another chance for them to laugh at their haters. God, we really are going back to 2012. I just hope we at least get a shout-out to one of his most iconic lines: “Swag swag swag on you / Chillin’ by the fire while we eating fondue.”
