Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Tamra Judge isn’t exactly known for calm, considered decision-making. But it looks as though the veteran Bravo-lebrity is sticking to her guns after seemingly quitting the franchise late Sunday night. While filming a group trip in New Orleans for the show’s upcoming 19th season, Judge posted a cryptic note to her Instagram Story, causing fans to speculate that the series veteran was done with RHOC for good. “It was a long run!” she wrote. “When life gives you real problems this reality shit doesn’t make sense. Peace out ✌️I’m out.”
While Bravo hasn’t confirmed her exit, Judge responded to a fan account wondering if she was quitting with a resounding “Yes!!!” The following morning, the 57-year-old posted a selfie at the airport with a “mental health is health” GIF, set to Kelly Clarkson’s “Catch My Breath.” I can’t say for certain what all of that means, but it definitely doesn’t sound good. Even Andy Cohen seemed somewhat out of the loop on Judge’s headspace as he discussed the debacle on “Andy Cohen Live” on Monday morning.
“I got the report of what happened last night,” Cohen said. “All I will say is this: I can’t comment on what’s going on while we’re filming shows. I guess the only thing that is at the top of my mind is that one of her best friends is going through an incredibly intense health crisis. So maybe keep that in mind.”

Cohen is referring to former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Teddi Mellencamp, one of Judge’s closest friends in the Bravo-verse and her Two Ts in a Pod co-host. Last month, Mellencamp announced that doctors had found multiple tumors in her brain. Following a surgical procedure, the 43-year-old said doctors were unable to remove two of the brain tumors and had discovered additional tumors in her lungs. As Mellencamp continues to undergo treatment, Judge has remained firmly in her friend’s corner, writing on Instagram, “You are gonna kick cancer’s ass, you are the strongest person I know ❤️ cancer FUK all the way off!!!!”

If Judge has indeed called it quits, this wouldn’t be the first time she has left the show: Judge exited the franchise in 2020 only to return in 2022 for its 17th season. We’ll see if Bravo is able to convince her to continue filming this time around, but given the context, I imagine it’d be wise to give the network’s resident firecracker some time off.
