Summer is upon us, which means school is letting out and graduation season is in high gear. Your friend’s boyfriend’s younger cousin isn’t the only person moving on to the next chapter of their life — a slew of celebrity kids are throwing flat hats in the air as we speak. Will they follow in their famous parents’ footsteps or forge a new path for themselves and other nepo babies to follow? We’ll have to wait and see. Anyway, here’s who’s graduating in the nepo-baby class of 2025.
Romy Mars
The 18-year-old daughter of filmmaker Sofia Coppola and musician Thomas Mars graduated from high school this year. While she told Teen Vogue she’s “not a woman of academics” and “it would be ideal if I had some job that I could just [do] and not go to college,” she says, “realistically, I’m sure, yeah, I’ll go.” Rumors suggest she is headed to Lehigh University (she appeared in a TikTok wearing the school’s merch), but no official confirmation has been made.

Nepo babies don’t only go to high school — some of them are graduating from college, too! Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s son graduated from Brown University this year. All signs point to his following in his parents’ footsteps thanks to his recent guest appearance on his dad’s show, Elsbeth.

There’s not much information out there about what Grace Murdoch, a.k.a. Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Deng’s daughter, will do after graduating from Yale University this year. Maybe she should watch Succession to prepare?

The son of the one and only Guy Fieri graduated with his M.B.A. from the University of Miami and celebrated by posting a collab Instagram post with his dad featuring photos and videos from the big day. Where to next? It’s not certain, but I have a feeling he’s headed to Flavortown …
