Just one month after throwing a perfect New York wedding at the Chelsea Hotel, and a few weeks after releasing a tenth-anniversary edition of her cult-favorite album E•mo•tion, it looks like Carly Rae Jepsen is well on her way to another milestone: motherhood.
On Monday, the singer announced that she was pregnant on Instagram with a set of black-and-white photos featuring her husband, Grammy-winning music producer Cole Marsden Greif-Neill, a.k.a. Cole M.G.N., and her bump. “Oh hi baby ♥️,” she captioned the post, with her new husband commenting three heart-eyed emoji under the carousel. The soon-to-be parents met in 2021 during a songwriting session and got engaged at the Hotel Castello di Reschio in Umbria in 2024. This will be their first child together.

In October, Jepsen told Vogue that the couple had been trying to conceive while explaining how she came to choose her two wedding dresses — a strapless gown from Australian designer Toni Maticevski for the ceremony and a loose-fitting Danielle Frankel dress for the reception. “We knew we were trying to get pregnant, so I also wanted an alternative dress that was much more flowy that I could sub in for the ceremony or just change into for dancing,” she said. I’m glad it all worked out. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
