The world would be a much better place if we could all talk about our exes the way Ben Affleck does. Just last night on the red carpet for Kiss of a Spider Woman, the actor could not stop piling on the praise for both of his ex-wives, Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez. He’s doing divorce better than everyone else.
Affleck talked about the two children he shares with his first Jennifer, Violet and Fin, while on the red carpet. “I could not be more proud of my children. I can’t even tell you,” Affleck told Access Hollywood, explaining that Violet “takes after her mom. She’s spectacular, and I’m very lucky that I’ve got a great partner and that we got great kids. It’s the joy of my life and I’m just very, very lucky. And it makes me happy every day.” How nice is that!

As he made his way down the carpet, Affleck also gushed about his other Jennifer — whom he seemed very happy to see — to Extra, saying she’s “amazing” in her new role in the movie he produced. “She worked enormously hard,” he said. “This role, you get to see, like, all of her many gifts.” Following their chummy evening, a source told “Page Six” that Affleck and Lopez “like each other so much more when they’re not married to each other.”
It kind of seems like he has the same deal with Garner. Here’s an idea: Why don’t they all move into the empty 38,000-square-foot Bennifer 2.0 mansion and live out their blended-family dreams? Now that’s a reality-TV show I’d watch.
