If you saw a tiny man on top of the Sphere this morning, congratulations! You spotted a real-life Timothée Chalamet, who has now become the first person to ever stand atop the high-tech round Las Vegas venue. In a video shared by the Instagram account for his new movie, Marty Supreme, Timmy is strapped into a harness standing on a metal platform on top of the Sphere, which was briefly decked out to resemble a giant orange ping-pong ball.

“Marty Supreme is an American film that comes out on Christmas Day 2025,” Chalamet yells, deadpan, as “Sirius,” by the Alan Parsons Project, begins to play. As the camera pans out to reveal the full scene, he waves his fists in the air and chants, “YEAH! YEAH! WOO! YEAH!”

While it is admittedly kind of lame that this is a joint promotion for the Josh Safdie A24 film about a table-tennis star and Cash App, this is still one of the best uses of the Sphere to date. (Coming in close second is the time they made it look like SpongeBob.) Plus, it’s the perfect birthday present for Chalamet, who turns 30 on Saturday. I wonder if he’ll wear orange to his party?
