Looks like some RHONY-inflicted drama has hit an upscale Italian restaurant in New York. According to an anonymously sourced item in “Page Six,” the former Housewife had a little meltdown after dining at the Noho restaurant Tucci with a few friends on Saturday. Strike one, according to onlookers who talked to the outlet, was that she apparently showed up to a three-person reservation on a busy weekend with five guests. Fine, it happens. Strike two? Upon receiving her $1,000 bill, sources claim the 61-year-old demanded the meal be comped.
“She was absolutely hysterical and refused to pay. It was like she was filming a ‘Housewives’ episode, shouting, ‘I’m a celebrity!’” one source claimed. “She was like, ‘I don’t pay; people pay me.’ She was absolutely entitled and caused a scene about not paying.”
Whether or not those specifics are true, Morgan did issue a statement to “Page Six” acknowledging that “a clear miscommunication” had taken place that evening. She explained that her dinners at Tucci had been comped in the past and that she believed she was dining “in exchange for a promotional post.” “I made that known to staff,” she added.

But the restaurant offered up a different, more dramatic story. When reached for comment, owner Max Tucci apparently told the tabloid that Morgan is now banned from the establishment. “The cost of everything is so expensive right now, and she’s just taking advantage,” he said. “There was no arrangement for her to have a comped dinner. She just wanted free food and service.”
While the dispute seems to have been put to rest — Morgan apparently paid the bill and tip on Monday — I’m not sure how she’s going to scrub this blemish from her public image. At the very least, she’s right about one thing: She is a celebrity, and a Crappie one at that.
