What’s the best part about watching awards shows? Judging everyone’s outfits, of course — and tonight is no different. This Memorial Day, the American Music Awards are airing live from the Fountainbleau in Las Vegas with Jennifer Lopez serving as the host. And like every other awards show, we’re expecting stars to show up and show out on the red carpet.
Below, we’ve ranked the best and worst dressed stars of the night, plus the weirdest looks that are blowing up our group chats (or causing us to scratch our heads). Here’s the good, the bad, and the ugly.
The Best

The Wackiest
Heidi Montag
We appreciate Heidi doing something different on the carpet, but this is giving a strange combo of Elvis impersonator and Disney villain.

Is she a sailor? Is she a bride? Not sure, but either way this is definitely wacky.
Shaboozey
The leather vest, white blouse, and plaid suit was a lot on its own. But add in some ass-less chaps and denim, and I’m even more confused. This combo is way, way too much for me to take in — next time, keep it to one over-the-top element.
