If you’re a celebrity, there are only two places you’re allowed to be right now: Jeff Bezos’s wedding or the Dior menswear show in Paris. Celebs came out in droves Friday for Jonathan Anderson’s debut at the fashion house, where he took over as creative director this spring.
Anderson, who made a habit of collecting buzzy celebrity clients during his tenure as Loewe’s creative director, left that brand in April to helm Dior’s menswear. Earlier in June, he took over womenswear, too, becoming the first designer to oversee all of Dior — menswear, womenswear, and haute couture — since Christian Dior’s death in 1957.

As such, he showed his first Dior men’s collection with much celebrity fanfare (and a lot of button-down shirts). Rihanna and A$AP Rocky showed up hand in hand in tailored looks. Robert Pattinson was seen palling around with Josh O’Connor, who was wearing a sorta-matching outfit with his Challengers co-star Mike Faist. (Faist, meanwhile, debuted a shaggy new hairstyle that has garnered mixed feelings from his fans.)

love that Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor are synced up in the same shade of blue. Soulmates in cinema and color. pic.twitter.com/mAjmJ8jpTI

Daniel Craig was Mr. Congeniality of the day — he was spotted chatting with Joe Alwyn, Drew Starkey, and K-pop group TXT in a pair of little blue sunglasses. In other hair news, Sabrina Carpenter went so far as to clip back her bangs for the occasion.

If his costume-designing work on Challengers was any indication, Anderson loves himself a pair of shorts, and during Friday’s show, he expanded his repertoire with a pair of incredibly voluminous ones. I wonder what the Challengers boys thought?
