Well, there’s no easy way to say this: Azealia Banks is claiming she and Conor McGregor have been “sending each other unsolicited nudes” for the better part of a decade. How did this information become public? Well, if you’ve kept up with Banks to any degree over the years, you can probably guess: She was on a tweeting spree and shared the details herself.
On Monday, McGregor’s 37th birthday, Banks shared that she and the MMA fighter have had a bizarre DMs-only relationship for years now. “No me and Conor McGregor have been sending each other unsolicited nudes since 2016. LOL,” she wrote on X, seemingly prompted only by the fact that it was his birthday. “I have never met the leprechaun but today is his birthday and he wants everyone to make a wish and blow out the candle,” she wrote in a follow-up post. She then made a confusing comment about men being “so homo” that managed to be both homophobic and entirely inscrutable.

Anyway, according to “Page Six,” Banks then shared two screenshots of her DMs with McGregor. Both featured nude mirror selfies of the fighter, one with the message “Don’t be a rat cos all rats get caught,” the other with “Lifting weights.”

“How you gonna send a bitch some crooked dick pics then threaten her not to tell,” Banks wrote in the now-deleted post. “Do you know who the fuck I am… This is HARAM.” In another deleted post, Banks asked, “How are you really going to sexually harass me with the potato farmer dick then threaten me not to tell???”
McGregor, who has faced two sexual-assault lawsuits in the past few years, has not commented on Banks sharing his nudes and accusing him of sexual harassment. Instead, on Tuesday he posted a lengthy video of himself on a yacht in Sardinia, dunking his face into a bowl of ice water and sliced cucumbers.
To summarize, McGregor seems unbothered by the situation, Banks is tweeting nonchalantly about how it “wasn’t that exciting,” and we are unfortunately left with the burden of knowing it happened at all. As is often the case with the tidbits Banks shares, I’ve lost one useful piece of knowledge to make space in my brain for this one. Good-bye, Pythagorean theorem!
