Wheel of Fortune co-host Vanna White announced in an Instagram post on Wednesday that she recently married her longtime partner, John Donaldson. “Surprise! We got married!” she captioned the photo, which showed Donaldson carrying her in a white dress. “John and I have been in love for more than a decade and a little while back, we wanted to make it official in a private ceremony.”
White previously told People that she first met Donaldson, a real-estate developer, when a friend brought him to her barbecue in 2012. “I remember looking at him and thinking, ‘He’s really cute,’” she recalled. “We ended up talking for a long time that night.” Though they didn’t officially tie the knot until recently, she said in the 2023 interview that it felt like they were married after being together for so long. “I mean, we’ve been together 12 years, and I feel like we are married,” she said. “Do we have to get married? No, because we feel comfortable in our relationship. You know what I mean? I know that he’s the one. He knows I’m the one.” Sounds like she hit the jackpot.
