Chris Noth is doubling down on his feelings about Sarah Jessica Parker. Earlier this month, the former Sex and the City star seemingly took a swipe at Parker in his Instagram comments section before playing down his comment as an “off-the-cuff slightly sarcastic response.” But in a clip from an upcoming appearance on Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson obtained by People, it seems like Noth wasn’t kidding at all.
In the clip of the episode set to release on Monday, Robinson asks Noth if he and SJP are friends or if they’ve “parted ways.” To this, Noth responded dryly: “No, of course not. We’re not friends. I think that’s pretty obvious.” When asked what happened, the 71-year-old explained that their friendship disintegrated after four women accused him of sexual assault in 2021. (Noth has repeatedly denied these accusations, writing in a statement at the time that “no means no” and “that is a line I did not cross.”) Shortly after the allegations surfaced, And Just Like That … leads Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis backed Noth’s accusers in a written statement, which Noth apparently found “hurtful.”

“The statement that they put out — which was nothing more than brand management, really — I don’t know, it was sad, it was disappointing, it was surprising,” Noth said in the new episode. “Because you need to call me and hear my side of this. You’ve known me for many years, and we’ve worked together for many years.”
“And I get it, that’s more Hollywood than Hollywood,” he said of the joint statement. “But before you make that statement, you know me, you’ve known me all these years, give me a call so I can give you the real scoop about this. And that didn’t happen, and that was too bad.”
Noth went on to claim that, had the roles been reversed, he “absolutely” would’ve checked in with Parker before releasing anything to the public. “That was hurtful, and it really affected everything,” he added. He is right about that last part: Noth hasn’t worked much over the past five years, save for 2025’s The Block. Maybe he can try again with Peloton in a few years?
