Nicole Kidman appears to be feeling herself a little more than usual lately. Her hair is curly, she’s been beaming in all the paparazzi shots of her recent trip to Australia, and most recently she pulled off a really fire airport fit. Is this the usual Kidman je ne sais quoi on display, or is there something else going on? Well, her seemingly great mood might have something to do with the fact that she and Keith Urban have officially finalized their divorce.
On Tuesday, TMZ reported that a judge in Tennessee had signed off on Kidman and Urban’s split. They began the process back in September, when Kidman filed for divorce in Nashville. At the time, sources told TMZ that the couple had been living apart since “the beginning of summer” and that Kidman “did not want the separation.” According to TMZ, the final terms of the breakup are pretty cut and dry. They’ve waived spousal and child support and are both retaining their own assets. They’ll continue to co-parent their two daughters.

Now that that’s over, Kidman seems to have a bit of pep in her step. Or, at the very least, in her curl pattern. Kidman has taken to wearing her natural curls more and more frequently in the last few months — while in Australia over the holidays, she went au naturel at a Christmas Eve party, and she did it again at the Sydney airport this past Sunday. She looked radiant on both occasions, and whether that has to do with the freedom of being single or the freedom of not having to pack a flat iron is anyone’s guess. It’s probably a bit of both.
