Several weeks after announcing she and Chris Fischer were ending their marriage (and selling their Moonstruck brownstone), Amy Schumer has officially filed for divorce. Per People, court records show the comedian filed her papers in New York County on Tuesday.
The filing comes after months of speculation that the former couple were on the rocks. Those rumors intensified in October when Schumer deleted all of her Instagram posts, including those featuring Fischer. Then, last month, the actress confirmed the news in a since-deleted Instagram post. “Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,”she wrote, adding that the split was “amicable and all love and respect,” and “not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag [a] basket and not because he’s a hot James beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail.”

Since the announcement, Schumer has continued to update her followers on her state of mind — this past weekend, she shared that she was dedicating her year to “self care and self love.” Might I recommend a little-known film called Eat Pray Love?
