After suffering through an incredibly public and messy breakup, Love Island USA’s JaNa Craig has come out the other side feeling pretty good. In July, speculation began to circulate that Craig and Kenny Rodriguez, the boyfriend she found on the sixth season of the reality show, had called off their relationship. Shortly after, Craig confirmed the split, vaguely referencing some kind of earth-shattering deception by Rodriguez. Craig’s friends also publicly alluded to clout chasing, racism, and scamming. While the reality star still isn’t saying what exactly went down, she’s ready to clear one thing up: She’s over it.
In an interview with People, Craig said that, through her friendships with her female co-stars and a lot of self-reflection, she’s been able to move past the relationship with Rodriguez. “I don’t think I could have gone through anything that I’ve been through this past year without them,” Craig said of her Love Island pals.
From there, Craig said that looking inward comes naturally to her. “When bad things do happen, I just reflect,” she said. “Self-reflection is very, very important. I think people should do it all the time. I analyze the situation for myself, I just talk it out to myself. I pray on it. I talk to God about it, and then I just literally move on. I’m really, really good at moving on.” Publishing houses, are you listening? There’s a best-selling self-help book here.

Craig wants to be done with talking about Rodriguez. “I don’t want to waste my breath on him, if I’m being so honest,” she told the magazine. “I thought it was a good relationship. But it wasn’t, and that’s fine.” Craig added that she’s “gotten the closure I need.”
Love all of this for her. That being said … if she wanted to do a 180, go nuclear, and drop all the receipts, I’ll speak for the Love Island USA community as a whole and say that we’d be hugely receptive to that. Otherwise, good on her for making peace with what sounds like a wild ride.
