The Grammys in 2025.
Welcome to all things Grammys, where we’ll be bringing you along later tonight as we report on the red carpet and highlights from the show. For Record of the Year, it’s between Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar and SZA, Chappell Roan, and Rosé and Bruno Mars. Bad Bunny, Carpenter, Lady Gaga, and Lamar also have Album of the Year nods, along with Justin Bieber, Leon Thomas, Tyler, The Creator, and Clipse (a.k.a. Pusha T and his brother, Malice). Song of the Year nominations mostly match the Record of the Year group with one notable addition: “Golden,” from KPop Demon Hunters.
So who can we expect to perform? Carpenter, for one, as well as Clipse with Pharrell Williams. All eight nominees for Best New Artist are also scheduled to perform — that’s Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Katseye, Leon Thomas, Olivia Dean, Sombr, the Marías, and Lola Young. Follow along!
This is a developing story.

Kehlani and Other Musicians Are Protesting ICE Tonight

Several of tonight’s attendees are heading into the Crypto.com arena wearing “ICE OUT” and “BE GOOD” pins to pay tribute to Renee Good, Alex Pretti, Liam Ramos, and other victims of Immigration and Customs Enforcement violence. They follow celebrity peers like Ariana Grande, Mark Ruffalo, and Olivia Wilde, who wore the same pins at the Golden Globes and Sundance. Kehlani told reporters on the red carpet, “I really wanted to say fuck ICE. But I think they needed some couth on the red carpet or something.” They added, “We’re too powerful of a group to all be in the room at the same time and not make some kind of statement.”

Bad Bunny Has Already Made Grammys History

Bad Bunny isn’t performing this year — he has to save his energy for the Superbowl! But he’s bound to show up — he’s the first Spanish-language artist in history to be nominated for album, song and record of the year simultaneously. Revisit our 2025 profile of him.

After Last Year, We Have High Expectations for the Red Carpet

The Grammy red carpet is famous for being a place to experiment with fashion, which usually means big swings and even bigger misses. But last year, almost all of our favs got it right on the red carpet. Highlights included Charli XCX in Jean Paul Gaultier couture, Miley Cyrus in Saint Laurent, Doechii in Thom Browne, Sabrina Carpenter in custom JW Anderson, and Chappell Roan in Jean Paul Gaultier. The most memorable look in a bad way came from — you guessed it — Taylor Swift, who wore a Vivienne Westwood mini dress with a perplexing “T” chain worn as a garter.

Here’s How to Watch the Grammys (and Who We’re Excited to See)
Ahead of the Grammy Awards, you can watch musicians arrive on the red carpet on both E! News and the Grammys website, live.Grammy.com. The actual awards show will air on CBS and Paramount+ starting at 8 p.m. ET.
On the carpet, I’m eager to see what looks the pop girls churn out (and ultimately who will link up). We’re sure to get some great red-carpet moments, especially from Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan, Doechii, and Bad Bunny. I hope Kendrick Lamar pulls out his bootcut jeans again, and I can’t wait to see what Justin Bieber shows up in.
