The 2025 Oscars ceremony wasn’t alone in going for a Bond tribute on Sunday night. It looks as though Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre, the latter of whom starred in Mufasa: The Lion King, may have hard-launched a new relationship in full James Bond cosplay, photos of which were reportedly taken at Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Oscars after-party. All that’s missing from the pictures is a martini — shaken, not stirred.
Taylor, who announced her split from her ex-husband, Iman Shumpert, in 2023, was seen with Pierre at both the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala and the American Black Film Festival Honors in February, sparking relationship rumors. They seem to have reunited for the Oscars — Taylor posted a carousel of black-and-white photos from their night on Instagram, set to SZA’s “Take You Down,” with the caption “Oscar night in black & white, no grey area. 🤍” Pierre shared the same set of couple-y photos sans caption and song.

Is this a hard-launch or a ploy to get them both cast in a new spy franchise? Whatever it is, the celebs seem to be loving them in the comments. Serena Williams even wrote, “Oooooppp lol love this.” Ditto.
