I have always taken pictures when I’m out with my mates. Achileas and Sage are really old friends. We’ve known each other since we were really young, all the way through NYU. I’m 24, and Achi will be 25 in August; Sage is just one year younger than us. They’re a funny actor-artist duo sharing a loft in Soho. Sage is Kenny Schachter’s son and a painter and ceramicist. Achi — it’s short for Achileas and pronounced Ah-kee, not Aw-chee as many Americans do — is an actor, a famously good dancer, and a born entertainer. The Hamptons is chill for us. Lots of beach, lots of tennis. I’ve been coming since I was a baby. My grandmother and grandfather built a very cool house with Richard Meier in East Hampton and then my parents are in Water Mill. Not that we don’t party here or go dancing, but the great nights are never planned. Memorial Day was a pretty typical weekend. Sage is friends with the model Ruby Muldoon, and we got word she was having a party in Sag Harbor. Talita von Fürstenberg, who happens to be Achi’s cousin, hosted a few of us for a boat day. The weather was dismal, so me and Achi and Sage went to Coopers Beach in Southampton first thing when there was sun. It’s not scene-y or crowded, and there’s no obnoxious music. That’s the last thing we want.
