On Wednesday night, a group of very special guests joined Dua Lipa onstage during the second night of her Radical Optimism tour in Dallas: the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Instead of “Thunderstruck,” America’s Sweethearts and their metallic pom-poms pranced around to Lipa’s song “Physical,” where the phrase let’s get physical is repeated no less than eight times. Needless to say, it was an appropriate choice.

Based on Lipa’s Instagram post, which included a video of her getting lassoed while wearing a Cowboys jersey, she sure seemed to have a good time. The cheerleading squad’s official account commented on her photo dump, writing “DCC DUA,” which I’m pretty sure means she made it past the auditions.

Lipa has a lot on her plate: She’s an international pop star and head of a monthly book club, and she recently added reformer salesperson to her résumé. Does she have time for the DCC’s grueling schedule? I have a feeling she could make it work.
