Looks like Amy Schumer is saying arrivederci to the Moonstruck house. Last week, she and her husband, Chris Fischer, reportedly sold their Brooklyn Heights brownstone, which famously served as the Castorini family home in Cher and Nicolas Cage’s 1987 movie, Moonstruck. The four-story, five-bedroom Cranberry Street home, which was built in 1829, includes a private backyard, a gym, original marble fireplaces, and a wine cellar.
The home’s role in rom-com history did not seem to help much in finding a buyer — according to Realtor.com, it sold for $11 million, $1.25 million less than what the couple paid for it in 2022, and $3 million down from their initial $14 million asking price. Schumer first announced they were selling the home in March, telling The Wall Street Journal they wanted to relocate to Manhattan to be closer to their 6-year-old son’s school.

News that the home had been sold came just a day before Schumer announced that she and Fischer were separating after months of rumors that their relationship was on the rocks. On December 12, Schumer confirmed the two had officially called it quits. “Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” Schumer wrote in an Instagram post, which she deleted shortly after.
