What do two middle-ish aged white men do when they want to spend quality time with one another? Golf, obviously. That’s what Tom Brady and controversial country star Morgan Wallen found themselves doing earlier this month when the two linked up for what appeared to be fodder for Brady’s budding YouTube channel.
The vlog posted on May 22 began with Brady paying what appears to be one of his employees $300 to take a tequila shot. Is this what happens when men try to bro out? Wallen and Brady then rode around on their little golf cart together in the rain talking about normal dude things, like how Wallen has been “working hard and chasing turkeys” — whatever that means — and also his short-lived high school baseball career. Classic.
So, why did the two hang out? It appears as if they’re… friends? Brady and his 17-year-old son went backstage at one of Wallen’s concerts in Las Vegas last August, which he also vlogged. Now, the football star’s YouTube channel appears to be a stop on Wallen’s press tour for his new album, appropriately titled I’m The Problem. Wallen ended up beating Brady in their friendly game of golf. “I’ve been having a mental break turkey hunting, that’s why I’m doing so good,” Wallen said, again bringing up the turkeys. I’m not sure how killing birds correlates to a good golf swing, and I don’t really care to hear an explanation.

The two exchanged signed merch at the end of their playdate — a guitar for Brady and a Buccaneers jersey for Wallen — and went on their merry way. Is this what Wallen meant by God’s country?
